Edited sorry about how sloppy i wrote this. I was very frustrated.

Well just when i think everything should be a ok on the car more issues go figure. I have a 96 gst and it wont start, i just put the battery in. It was load tested and is good. I also just put an alternator in because the car would be dead after i drove it anywhere and the lights were flickering. Well today i drove it after i put the alternator on last night figured my problems should be over and sure enough its not. I dont understand what the issue is. I installed an safc, since then just nothing but issues i dont know why, its not on when the car is off and i installed it exactly as the direction told me on the forum here. I dont know why im having these problems.

Check to make sure you have spark..and make sure no connections came loose from where you were working

So does the car start with the new alt and battery? Sorry kinda of confused you said that it didn't start but change out parts and drove it. Have you try to remove the safc and return to original to see if you have any problems. If you uninstall and everything is fine I would look into the safc as the problem.

Sounds like you wired the safc to a wire that always has power. Thus the reason it's staying on and draining your battery. You have to wire it to somthing that only sees power when the ignition is in the on or run position. But can you please rewrite your post, it's really hard to understand!

Ok well i charged the battery, hooked it up and tryed to start the car nothing not even my interior lights would come on. So i decided to look more at my battery conections, they were filthy. So i cleaned both terminals and the connectors and bam car fired right up! Im thinking it was just a matter of not getting a good solid connection on the battery terminals. Im letting the car sit with the battery charged and will try it again soon to see if there is a draw.

I tested the alternator by starting the car and pulling the negative terminal on the battery and car stayed running.

I will update if i have anymore issues with this.

Thanks to all that have helped with all my issues ive had!
