I'm trying to find a radio pocket to fill in the bottom spot of my double din surround but can't locate one. Would any from a 2g or 3000gt fit on a 1g

OH, I haven't seen any of those. All that I've see are covers. You could always try and make one yourself. There are many ways to make one. Corrugated plastic is cheap and easy to work with. Or you could even use a corrugated box and cut it to the shape that you would like and soak it in fiberglass resin. Once the resin is dry, the box will be nice and hard. These are just a couple of ways to make one.

Good luck on finding one.

A Porsche 944 pocket might work. I'll pull mine out of my car and give it a go and let you know the results.[DOUBLEPOST=1410983052][/DOUBLEPOST]It fits it doesn't have any brackets to bolt to the holes because in the Porsche it just slips right in but making some out of a aluminium bar wouldn't be a problem at all and would give it a better fitment.

I got the whole radio mount for an aftermarket radio of off fleebay in mine, can't remember the name but looks good and works great but it won't work with a factory radio. Just fyi. The brand name started with a "M", but thats all I can remember.

Get on ebay, you can get a pocket, a drawer, a cup holder, basically what ever you want to use that extra space for. Search for single din pocket.

OEM part number, if I'm looking at it correctly, is MB522082. These are abundant at the junkyard.

I've never seen any in a junk yard. I have one from a galant but it's smaller than the 1g opening so theirs a gap. They used to be a dime a dozen but now I can't find anything on them.
The ones on ebay are for a 2g which idk if they will fit

IT is just a single din universal pocket. They attach to the brackets just like a stereo does. They will work just fine.

I called Paul at jnztuning and he said he could get me one surprisingly
