No injector pulse
A little background; 99GSX, stock motor with fmic, gm maf-t, safc2. Car came in on a tow truck for me to look at. The shop who worked on this prior to me, did not soldered any of the connections. It was all twisted together and taped.
What I have tried so far:
Checked spark with a spark tester
Checked plugs themselves
Fuel pressure strong after the regulator
Noid checked the injector clips, failed
Do have a 12+ on all the clips, pass
No injector pulse at the ecu.
After several days of search on tuners, link, and talk, I am still not getting injector pulse.
I unplugged the maft, connected another ecu, car fired right up. I quickly shut it down. Plug the maft back in, and no pulse again.
What I changed so far since last 2 days:
Removed maft, new ecu, good ptu, good resistor pack, new cam sensor, checked clips with noid lights, and still no pulse. I would have changed the MPI relays, but they are 2 black relays, and my spare is the brass looking relay. Unless you guys know where I can find such relays.
Thanks
Tony R.
