So long story short my old transmission went out. So i bought this one from a guy on Facebook he "guaranteed" it was good . installed it and this is whats happening its like the clutch is sipping but its not I've taken the trans off once to make sure it wasnt the clutch, and it never had any symptoms like this before. my question is does this sound like a blown up transmission and i got ripped off or maybe something else? any help would be appreciated it.

Its tough to tell from your video, but are you just accelerating in first gear or are you shifting or what? The video goes outside the car when the noise happens.

Doesn't really sound like its coming from inside the transmission. Carrier bearing bolted to block tight? Cross memeber under tranny on super tight? If your on stock mounts, are both those rubber end pieces that go on transmission mount in place?

the clutch was fine when i took the old trans off, carrier bearing is tight, cross member tight, sold prothane mounts, and i was just in first when i give it gas it makes the sound and just slips, i might have been in second actually but same thing happens in both gears.

Check carrier. Is it boltrd up? If youre not shifting that doesnt sound like clutch. It also doesnt sound like internal tranny either. Check axles and make sure they are seated etc. Do rpms go up suddenly while accelerating? We need more info.

You sure you didnt rest the tranny on the input during install? Awfully loud. If its internal there is likely evidence in the fluid.

I would drain the oil and look at the color. If the trans has any internal issues than the oil will have metal in it.

It is really impossible to tell what is broken inside without removing it and checking. There are quite a few moving parts on the inside.
