I am about o order my pod, but just thought I would as if tuners get a discount because i see they have a coupon box. Well if not, i hope it gets here by the end of the week.

I wish I would have known about that coupon when I made my purchase. Oh well. I do like all of the setups.

The coupon code was a one-time thing they set up for us. If you email them they might be able to set something up again.

I am not trying to hi-jack the thread or anything but I am having a bit of trouble. I recently bought a Prosport Electrical Oil Pressure gauge and I was planning on putting it in my current triple a-pillar pod but the gauge is too long. The gauge sticks out about 1/2" like Tom's and looks like crap. It hits the back of the pod it sits in. It's an Autometer pod off of ebay (so who really knows what it is). I was wondering if anyone else has ran into this issue or if you have Glowshift or Lotek pod, would the Prosport gauge fit?

I've installed both Lotek and EBAY a-pillar pods. They fit similar if not the same. Check my review on glowshift pod in review section. I've put autometer and glowshift gauges in them and they both sit flush. The autometer gauges you will have to hack off those mounting bars, the glowshift gauges you do not since I believe there aren't any to begin with.

I've also installed the cluster pod as shown by a member above. When buying the cluster pod you really have to buy gauges with short mounting depth if you want them to sit flush. I have some ORIS brand gauges from ebay. Boost and electronic oil pressure gauge in my beater 2g gsx with the cluster pod, and they fit flush! I guess I got lucky. It really comes down on the gauge. Also the fitment on the cluster pod is not great. It almost seems that it would fit better installed on top of the stock cluster bezel, but that obviously would leave no room to put gauges.

A member here went to the extreme because their gauge didn't sit flush on the cluster pod, by actually making a hole in the plastic of the actual guage cluster so the gauge can go through!

Thanks for the reply. My UEGO and Autometer boost gauges fit fine in the pod but the Prosport gauge is about 3/4" longer than either of the other 2 gauges. Can't figure out what to do its either cut my current pod or chance getting another one and hope the Prosport fits.

Was browsing the forums, and came across this thread. I just installed a boost gauge on my 97 Spyder GST. Was looking for a triple pillar pod for the gauges. As I found this thread, I wondered about the coupon code"dsmgroup15", so I emailed Lotek. They responded by telling me that the code is still good. So anyone looking to buy a piller pod for your gauges, use the coupon code"dsmgroup15" for a discount. Thanks everyone for your dedication to DSM's......

I take that back, just tried to use it and it says that it is expired. Will post again as soon as I get word from Lotek.

Coupon code is good, "dsmgroup15". Thanks everyone, and a big thanks to the guys at Lotek....

I got a used two gauge Lo-tek pillar pod from someone for a 2G DSM. I have drilled the first hole in the top of my A-pillar to mount it, but have not done so for the middle section, as my drill is too big to angle it right at the dash.

The only concern I have is hitting or damaging the sunroof drain hose which is directly behind that area.

Has anyone encountered problems with damaging a drain hose or whatever is behind the A-pillar sheet metal?

Thanks.

Yes this thread was started along time ago but the coupon code on here is no longer valid.

The new code that works and takes $5 off is: CLUBDSM :thumb:

Just throwing out that little bit of info for anyone that is interested in purchasing a pillar from Lotek (www.gaugepods.com // Lotek Inc.)

Code is working as of 4/03/13

Anyone know of a coupon for lotek?

I looked about a month ago before ordering, and didn't find one. CLUBDSM doesn't work anymore. Then again, it's only $5.....

Funny thing is I bought one about 12-13 years ago using the code. Sold it because I didn't like the gauges there anymore. 5 years later decided that I wanted them there again, and bought one used. Changed my mind 2 years after that, and then sold it. Changed my mind again, and wanted them back on the pillar and ordered another one.

If you're looking for a cheaper option, you can get a black Glowshift and then paint it with this:
