I've been searching for this stuff for a good 6 hours now and I'm stumped. Out of my list of a dozen things, I'm stumped on these.

To clarify, I bought this car after it had been sitting for some time without a head on it. Most parts are there, but not every little thing. It's a 92 1gb and I just rebuilt the 6 bolt we just put in it.

1. First up is the thermostat housing. I'm pretty sure I figured out what these two sensors are, I just wanna know if anyone can verify? I believe left (one wire popped off?) is AC switch and right side (sorry it's dark) is coolant temp sensor.
The thing that is really confusing me is the coolant temp sensor (if that's what it is)... it's like theres a lose screw at the end there.

2. Next, I understand that 2Gs had two o2 sensors and 1gs only had one? When I bought the car it had a downpipe on it with an o2 bung. Where can I find a cap for that? My searches are coming up with squat.

Or... should I put a regular o2 sensor in the downpipe n plug that oine into the harness and use the o1 housing to put my aem wideband dump?

3. Lastly. I cannot figure out what this 6 pin clip goes to. Both of them really (opposite side of booster too). Was it a resistor box for the injectors?

4. Most stumped of all... I found this cluster of four wires coming out of the main harness by where the fan comes out. I have no clue what these four wires go to.

Any pointers are greatly appreciated.

Definitely something metric for the plug. I have my sensor for my wide band down by the motor mount and it reads just fine. Check out the classifieds for a good wideband they r essential! It's nice someone saved you the work and put in your bung already. As far as the fan wires go... I had the same problem. Some jumble of wires I didn't know what was what. I spent a good couple hours and made a simple wiring harness with a relay and wired both my slim fans direct to the battery with a toggle switch. I can post pics if you like. The 20+ year old wiring on our cars isn't the best and can be dried out and crunchy. I ran my main power supply with 10 gauge stranded wire to ensure maximum voltage to the fans.

The 4 wires look like the original radiator fan wires: Blue/red (blue with red marking or stripe) for fan power, blue/black for fan ground, green/black for thermo sensor control (to fan relays), black for thermo sensor ground.

So the clip with the two wires is definitely the AC temp switch. I guess the one of the right is the coolant temp sensor for the gauges in the instrument cluster. It just looks different in my car than number 4 in the photo above. Out of all the photos I've found on this, # 2 in this thread (first post) looks most like it. http://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/sensors-on-thermostat-housing.379746/

I think you guys are absolutely right on the fans. The only other thing I could figure was foglights which arent even on my car. (Not to say there never were... but still)

And I guess that clip by the booster is for the AC relay box. Yay for stuff I don't need!

Thanks a ton guys.

19Eclipse90 that harness map is awesome. Thank you very much for the link.

If the sensor in your thermostat housing is a single prong, it is most likely for the temperature gauge in the cluster.

The fog light uses a two-pin connector; the connectors are most likely on your harness somewhere, just not in the location of those four wires for the fan. :)

It turns out the guy had an aftermarket coolant temp gauge sensor but had it tapped so that it connected to the factory gauge and an aftermarket gauge!

I found the what I believe has to be the foglight clips (identical one on each side by headlight and headlights are already wired up), so those 4 cutoff wires must have gone to the fan. There are a couple more things I'm totally lost on though. I've been using the link below and I've figured out most of the plugs. This one IIRC is right by the pasenger headlight. It's not the stock MAF clip, that one is already accounted for.

This one comes up right behind the IM a tad closer to the driver side. It was chopped off right at the top there. I'm not entirely sure what the pink clip (w/ 1 green and 1 blue wire) there goes to either. I quickly checked out my buddys 1g the other night and i saw the pink clip plugged onto the IM. The chopped one with the black and white wire went around there too but I couldnt find the end.

Better image of the top where it's chopped if it helps:

We're so close to making this baby run. Any help is appreciated.

Is the car an auto, by chance? Or is the harness from an auto?

The connector with the green and the blue wire is the EGR Temperature Sensor (B-08). The other connector with the black and the white wire is the Knock Sensor (B-07).

Really? That's the knock sensor?? That explains a bit then.

It's a manual and to my knowledge it has always been a manual. It looks like the factory ecu has never ever ever been touched in this car so I'm getting it's original.

I'll assume that the square 4-pin connector you first pictured is on the engine compartment harness since you said it's by the headlight and it isn't an auto car nor has an auto harness. Then, the only possibility for that connector in that location is the radiator fan (A-40) on that side.
