Hey guys!
I have a stock 1991 Eagle Talon awd tsi
I have found 6 leaking vac lines and fixed/replace all of them. At idle my vac/boost gauge shows a steady 18lb with no needle shudder.I performed a boost leak test and found that my pcv valve was allowing boost into the valve cover/head so I replaced it and it fixed that problem and stopped my oil cap leak while driving
My throttle body butter fly shaft has a slight leak and I'll fix it but my main issue is a leak that I can't find!
I have a major leak in or around the turbo, we can clearly hear air rushing out but can't find it by feel, sight or bubbles! I put my ear up to the exhaust but all is quiet there....
My question is: Is there a common problem with the stock TDO5H turbo? Prone to crack, V band leak, some thing internal???
Here is a quick video to show how bad the leak is on my boost gauge....
