Ok, been toying with aftermarket keyless entry and have had limited success, so I'm hoping I can get some input... I tried to install it using the factory harness in the rear panel that would have connected to the factory unit but while I got the unit powered up and I could hear the internal relay working, I couldn't get the locks to respond...

I know that these locks are a negative trigger, so does that basically mean the central lock/unlock wires (brown and brown/white) are just basically bridged to a ground when you hit the switch? I'm just wondering because if that's the case, I would think that I would be able to test by tapping into the trigger wire(s) and jumping it to a ground to see if it actuates the lock.

Also, I'm not familiar with the factory unit, when you lock/unlock does it beep the horn or flash the parking lights or anything?[DOUBLEPOST=1409244758][/DOUBLEPOST]So no one knows ANYTHING about the keyless entry option, either factory or aftermarket huh?
