Hey, pretty simple question but I'll give a bit a background. I got a 2G talon for $350, I needs a new head, it's a tsi awd, auto though. My roommate has a 91 tsi, & a bunch of spare parts including a pedal assembly. I've searched around and realized that it'll probably be more hassle then it's worth trying to get some of the parts from a 1g to fit but does anyone have a definite answer to if the 1g clutch & break pedal will fit?

I realize they're better but i'm not trying to take this car to the extreme in any sense. This was purchased mainly for something to wrench on, fix up & have some fun with. & I know i wouldn't have as much fun in an auto as a 5spd.

They are totally different. The 2g has the master on the driver side of the master, the 1g has it on the other.
