I've got a 97 GSX that sat in storage for 3 years while we grew our family. I started getting her ready to drive again back in December and just as I thought I was done in June the car won't start. Not sure if this is due to the incident where some jackass broke into the car and may have damaged the wiring while stealing the radio and some other parts. The fuel gauge reads like I have no fuel. So I drained the old fuel and added about a half tank and still the same problem. So I replaced the old Walbro with a new one since it sat so long. Same problem. So I replaced the fuel lines with 6AN from tank to rail. Same problem. So lastly I replaced the fuel sending unit as some people suggested the unit sensor was probably bad. Same problem.
So if there's anyone on the east with a good amount of DSM experience that can help me solve this problem without it costing as much as the car I'll gladly compensate since I just don't have the time like I used to. Please reply here with your availability and cost per hour. Thanks so much!

Where's the car at?

I live in Gilbert and the soonest I could look at the car would be Monday. If I can't fix it odds are I could at least diagnose the problem so you can order the RIGHT part, not keep shotgunning the problem and still ending up with a broke car. Always nice to have new 6AN line and a shiny Walbro though... :D

It's 100*+ outside so early is the name of the game if it isn't at least in a garage.

I could do Monday, in a garage :), but it would have to be before work around 7 or so. I could also do after work at 5:30. The car is in storage on Power & University and I'd really appreciate driving her again so I'll make sure it's worth your time.

Do you have an weekdays off, like Tuesday or Wednesday next week? If not, we can do it after you get off work around 5:30pm but if it's in storage odds are there isn't a 115v outlet so we'd be limited to flashlights once it starts getting dark.

Let me know what works best for you, I just remember that I've got to be somewhere by 9am Monday up in Scottsdale so if we do it in the morning then Wednesday would probably be best.

Thanks for checking in, turns out I was missing the oring from my Walbro install and a couple other parts. So not running yet as we are waiting for little parts to come in. I'll keep you posted.

hell yea , well im nate, i try my hardest to help ppl out all around to get the dsm s on the road again. if there is any special diag stuff let me know

Nate and Corey, I've got all my parts in and installed. Do you know of anyone with a DSMLink V2 cord? We may have packed it up since we're in the process of moving.
