Hey everyone! It has been awhile since I've posted on here. Thought I'd take a sec and post some of our recent results. We have had out 1G out with the FP black, and have been making a handful of low boost passes while bracket racing. First time we turned it up we broke the FP Black record. Car weights 2750 W/driver this year. We had high hopes of a low 9 sec pass at shootout, possibly an 8 sec pass. Unfortunately our first pass the rad cap came loose somewhere in 2nd gear and by the end of the pass Engine coolant temps were 230*. Back in the pits everything looked ok, but on the next pass we lost the head gasket in high gear. We're putting the head bak together now in hopes to improve on this ET even further. Below is a time slip of the record, some pics from the shootout, and a video of a 9.35 pass.

I'd also like to mention that these pics were taken by several other people, some of which I know, and some I don't. I'm amazed at the quality of pictures some of you guys take!

No nitrous.

Cool, nice work. Assuming this is ball bearing, but what converter and stall/psi are you seeing?

2.0l. Journal bearing. Bradco converter. Leaving at 3800rpm and 16psi.

Thanks everyone! That light is ok. I bracket race a bit. Usually I'm a .030 or better.

With the ball bearing version we could stall up a stock converter to 15psi in 6-7 seconds without nitrous, anything much past that was straight to 30psi...perfect power almost no street lag on a 2.3L, but then after a pass you would have oil in the cold side.

I'll qualify it a bit, its a good light for an import running quick 16. Cutting a light like that bracket racing typically won't get you very far, happy? :)

Ha. Yup!
