I just got out and made my first 3rd and partial 4th gear wot pulls today and have a few concerns. My first concern is that I'm running roughly 1-1.3 points leaner on my wideband than what my DA fuel table target is. I am spraying a 50/50 meth/water mix so this has got me really confused. Everything I've read about meth injection says you should set your target afr 1 point leaner than what you want your final afr to be and the meth will make up the difference. I'm thinking something must be out of whack here but not really sure where or what to look at. I read through Jeffgst's website about calibrating the maf and boostEst so I took a video of the tach and boost gauge and compared it with my log and they are almost dead on at every rpm range up till about 6-6500k. BoostEst shows my boost falling when my boost gauge climbs to 20psi.
My second concern was that the AFRatioEst and PLX wideband are very close until I hit about 6k rpms and they seem to go in opposite directions. I have no explanation for this.
I also noticed that my airflow numbers seem really high for the amount of boost I'm running. According to my boost gauge I'm creeping to 20psi by redline. Its a Genuine Evo3 16g.
My MafRaw seems to be a little crazy in the lower rpm's as well.
Relevant mods are as followed
Stock block and compression ratio (last compression test were in the 140's)
DKS 272's
PTE 680's
Evo3 16g
Ported 2g Exhaust maifold
3" Turboback exhaust
2g fuel rail and regulator
Walbro 255 Rewired
2g MAF with 3" intake and air filter in SMIC location
bpr8 plugs gapped to .024 (was running 24psi on old safc/eprom chip)
AEM Progressive Meth injection (600cc injector just before TB elbow bend. 6psi start and full spray by 18psi)
Very minor boost leak at TB shaft seals
Old Buschur racing street FMIC
Mechanical Timing is right on as well as base ignition timing
If there is anything else you guys need to know just ask.
