Hi,
Its been raining a lot here lately, and when i went out to the eclipse after it been sitting for about a week there was a lot of water on the passenger side floor.
I Think its the sunroof seal that is leaking.

So i was wondering if anyone knew where i could buy new seals? For both the sunroof and the doors, and maby the rear hatch as well.

Edit: Ive checked extremepsi and mitsubishiparts.com but i couldn`t find it there

Thank you

Check the drains on the sunroof. The seal isn't going to be waterproof is the drains are clogged. You could have a leak around the window with a mis adjusted window also.

I got my sunroof seal from sunroofdoctor.com . You are going to have to know if it is factory installed or aftermarket. As Bryanwheat said, check the drains for clogs. Another thing to consider is the adjustment on the sunroof it's self. I bought mine and when I went to install it, I found that the reason my sunroof wasn't working was one of the plastic clips that hold the cable to the guide was broken causing a slight gap. The broken clip for the cable was preventing the glass to close all the way.

Call Paul at JNZ, he might have some oem ones hiding out, like he did for 1g's that he found today.

Ah thanks guys!
I`ll have a look at the drain first, it`s very possible its clogged.
My sunroof tilts up as it goes backwards, how would i know if its factory installed or aftermarket?

I've found a very common cause for the sunroof leaking to be that the sunroof develops rust. If that happens, the seal obviously doesn't seal and water gets in. Happened on both of my cars. I had to settle for some slightly rusted ones from the junkyard and sand away any rust and repaint it to prevent it from rusting again.

I just noticed that you are in Europe so more than likely you have the factory installed sunroof. A friend of mine had an aftermarket one on her RS and the seal was under the glass vs the seal going around the glass such as mine. If it goes around the glass, the factory one should work for you.

I thought that there was a thread about adjusting the height of the glass but I can't seam to find it now. I believe that the rear is suppose to sit 1mm higher than the front.
