I never heard of this really happening. My wiper blades don't reset. They can turn on and have basically 2 speeds. The speeds is slow or fast. It wont stop in the same spot though each time. I hear it could be a fuse and some say the motor needs replace. Any ideas?

Its definitely not the fuse, that would stop the wipers completely. There certainly could be something screwy with the motor but I would replace the switch first because its cheaper than a new motor and a bit less work. And chances are the switch has gone bad, I see it everyday at Oreilly's.

Hope this helps!

^^^ this is true. These motors have an internal park switch and pulse board for delay if equipped. If this is burnt out they'll do whatever they want as long as they're turned on. I would say change the motor. If the wipers weren't turning on, or only worked on certain speeds I would point you towards a switch, fuse or relay. I too see this every day, just at Autozone...
