Inspected hail damage on ESi DD. Hood looks like a golf ball, and I have a nice crack on windshield.

Picked up some black leather Tiburon seats for TSi.

Continued disconnecting stuff for engine pull on TSi.

Reset base timing with a properly calibrated timing light, which caused me to need to redo fuel and also explained a miriad of other issues I've had. It was retarded 5 degrees.

Solved erratic idle (althought still not perfect but close), almost nonexistent knock, jumpy transition from closed to open loop, 50Hz/100Hz compensation of -7% to get 0.25, and 100ns more deadtime on the injectors to get +/- 2% FT.

Now I just have a mafcomp curve that makes sense for a couple small boost leaks I can't fix this year.

Finished removing engine bay components. Bolted on engine leveller. It's ready to pull.

Pealed the old carpet off my salvage yard trunk cover. Needs a bit of work, and the rivets smoothed out. Then time for a Carbon overlay.

Swapped rubber/nylon braid fuel lines for SS/Teflon fuel lines with heat-shrink cloth sleeve. Installed a leak proof sight gauge on custom coolant overflow. Re-wrote code for the cell phone alarm thingy and installed it in the car.

Pulled engine & transmission.

Put a flood coat of epoxy on hatch cover CF overlay.[DOUBLEPOST=1407984589][/DOUBLEPOST]Separated engine from transmission. Only 3 bolts holding them together.

Pulled stuff for sand and glass beading ready for powder coating, getting ready to pull engine out. Serious cleaning. Parts list for new stuff.

Pulled clutch & flywheel.

Trimmed ~1" off of engine stand standoffs.

Mounted engine to stand with turbo to manifold bolts.

Started checking out lightened flywheels, since this very low mileage, but old setup has some serious heat marks.

finished up some battery relocation wiring under the hood

threw the interior back in (literally)

cinched up all the loose nuts and bolts that id hand tightened

and hauled it home! gonna finish the rest at home, hope to fire it up in a week or two?

Pulled underlay off passenger compartment, and trunk carpet.
Pressure washed both.
Started soaking with various different cleaners in tub. Almost ready for Rit Dye.

Put another coat of epoxy on CF trunk cover overlay.

My car was lagging hard, so I went searching and found a huge boost leak. One of my intercooler pipes was barely hanging on. Fixed it, now she pulls like a champ

poured concrete in my garage add on for a new home for her. Also a buddy needed a whiskey barrel (for his margarita ville? jamacian? beach? drinking? old timey?) themed bathroom to make a sink cabinet out of it and in turn he knows a guy that remodels hotels and is getting me one of those all in one a/c heat wall mount models that's only 4 years old. Great trade!

Started pulling front suspension apart. #*!%!! wheel bearings.
Got one side loose. I'll have to take a file to clean up the edge of my knuckle. The rear bearings seemed to fall out compared to the fronts.

Finished the full 2ga to 2gb conversion but with the talon twisty skirts, and now dipping the car in the alien gc-47 pearl...

Hooked up laptop to ESi to pull check engine code. P0455. Looked under hood and saw rubber hose on intake disintegrating. Replaced with some 1/4" fuel hose, reset light. Fixed. (I hope)

On TSi.. Finished separating drivers side knuckle from wheel bearing. Melted/Hammered out ABS sensors.
