The top on my spyder is leaking through a little crack next to the rear window, is there any glue or something I can put on there to stop it from leaking?

You can try different things such as a patch and fabric glue(or like a clear coat). Usually near the window means the stitching is beat up. Hard to tell without a detailed picture, if the top hasnt be replaced in the past 10 years and its been outside often, it may be time for a replacement. I replaced mine close to two years ago, can be expensive if you have a shop do it, but its certainly challenging and cheaper to do yourself (I bit the bullet and paid a shop).

Heres some pics of it im not sure if its the stitching or not, the top seems to be in great condition except for that so I hope I can patch it up some how. Im not sure if it was replaced or not I just bought it from the 2nd owner around a week ago

Looks like that window stitching where the glass is nice and snug in there. If you dont have the money to replace, I'd try anything that you may think will work. Patches, glue, clearcoats, whatever you can get your hands on. Whatever you use, use it on the inside of the car and outside. It has to be flexible and able to bend though so you can take the top up and down obviously. If not, then its time to replace. Gluck!!

Take the latches off and loosen the star screw and tighten the hooks then retighten the screws that'll give you a better seal around all your windows. I don't have any suggestions for the water proof material considering I just replaced my top when it leaked so bad.

Thanks everyone I fixed the leak around the back window with some fabric glue and plastidip, I do have to tighten those latches in the front now since its leaking through the drivers window now

How exactly do you tighten the hooks? I took the latches off but the only screws I notice are the star screws and those are already as tight as can be and the latches are still crazy easy to lock

At the base of the hooks theres a very small allen head set screw. Remove the screw and rotate the hooks around like a bolt to loosen or tighten.

Yea what he said just actually screw the hooks in. I had to get some vice grips to turn mine about the last quarter turn but now my top doesn't leak. Just make sure you tighten the allen screws back down.

Thanks guys I figured out the hooks and tightened them, hopefully it helps with some of the leaks
