I bet many of you just deal with the ridiculously annoying BEEP BEEP when you open your door with your key in the ignition, but I guarantee not one of you are thankful for this stupid noise, When you need to work under your dash, check fuses, the sound can become deafening, and well I for one like to listen to music with the door open. So, what were looking for is a piezoelectric speaker, in the drivers side fuse panel, and once we find it theres a couple options depending on your desires
What you need to do is pretty straightforward once you know what youre looking for, I had to probe around with a stethascope looking for the damn thing. So take the nut off the bottom of the fuse box, swing it around, and youre looking for these 4 tabs that hold the door ajar module on, which is the back cover of the fuse box.
When the back cover is off, you will see a small circuitboard, and a black cylinder with a small hole in the top. BINGO. So, now do as you chose, put a piece of tape over it to muffle it, or take something sharp and poke it. If you give it a few good pokes it pretty much makes no noise at all. Sorry not better pics, it is real straightforward tho, good luck
