So i have no idea what kind of injectors to get i have 550cc now and i need bigger ones i need 660cc injectors and i need them to hook up to my stock set up as in fuel rail and so on... i have a eagle talon tsi 2g its a 1995 :D and have no idea what kind i should get i wanted to get RC injectors but there so much and they said there the best ? thought all injectors were the same .??:ohdamn:

can some one help me find cheap but good 660cc injectors for my buck ? thanks.

2.3 the .3 i have a stoker:aha: .3 i don't know ? because i can feel im getting fuel cut?? and fuel lag when i make boost at all ? that's why i think they are bad am i wrong ?

This sounds like a boost leak to me. Why not drop the boost down to stock level and see if it goes away?

I just ordered a set of injectors from a company called smartfuel injectors. They have a 1 year no questions asked warranty and the prices are really inexpensive. I purchased a set of 1200cc for 200.00 shipped. I have not received them or installed them to try out yet but when I do I will keep everyone posted.

Blast from the past on a 3 year old thread. And I would do research. A ton of people are have issues with the smart fire injectors. I would just try to get money back and but some used rc or fic 1000s for that much.

Wow didn't even notice how old the thread was my bad. I did some research and really didn't find any negative reviews? I did notice I really never see people using them but I thought I would give them a try

Ive heard of them. I'd be interested to see the flow test on them and how matched they are.
Let us know how they idle and cruise. You only got 200 in them so I guess its worth a shot, right? If they suck, eh, get ya some PTE, FIC, RC...etc

Im sorry its actually smartfire injectors. I talked to the owner today and he guarantees them 100% for one year no questions asked ! For 200.00 and they work well Ill be mighty happy. With money I saved I bought a wideband o2 system ! I think I might actually have them flow tested and then we can all see !

Read up about them on LS series motors (vettes, camaro, gto). Tons of issues with them being dead out of the box, trying to swap them out, getting more bad ones, etc. Again, I would rather spend $200 on a set of used, good condition fic, rc, or other known to be good injectors.

The number one problem I have buying a used set is I have no idea what condition they are in. So now I need to send them in to get flow tested and cleaning etc. So now my 200.00 has turned into 300.00 or more depending on the condition they are in. With these I have a warranty and can just return them if they don't work out. If they do work out I have purchased larger and less expensive brand new injectors. I do agree that the big names are tried and have very good reputations. I just feel like its at least worth a try. I really have nothing to loose if they are bad I return them get my money back.

I just put my general trust in this mighty fine dsm community when it comes to buying used parts, and use paypal as its intended, with fraud insurance. Havent had a failure yet in 3 years on a used part I've bought on here.

Think, injectors are built to meet or exceed oem (well, good name brands) and the size you are talking about is still a borderline size for e85. Many in the 1000-1100-1200 would be mostly used pump gas setups where people switch to e85 injectors. Just my thoughts on the subject.

And, this is why I should have never posted. I was going to try these at one point, but I did research, found out people had tons of issues, and had issues trying to get their money back because the vendor just wanted to keep sending new injectors instead of refunding the money. So, in my mind, it makes no sense to try them, when I see other people have already done so and had horrible luck with them.

Good luck.

id definetly go to link before purchasing bigger injectors, since the safc can only support 650s it would be a waste to upgrade 100cc, IMHO go with link, learn/understand tuning then upgrade injectors depending on your goals

good luck
