I just bought a 91 eclipse n/t and I can't find anywhere that has performance parts for it. I can only find parts for n/t 2g and turbo 1g. Even this site is like this. I can find plenty of suggestions for what parts to replace, but not the actual parts. Does anyone know where I can find performance parts for my car?

yes do a search on parts on here and they will link you to web sites, also try http://www.buschurracing.com//index.html www.extremepsi.com has some parts for non turbo, also www.nopi.com
www.procarparts.com

You can get cams, headers, good exhaust and cold air intake, bigger injectors etc..
If you cant find the right cams you want I own a shop and can get you Howards race cam kit for about $650 but your going to need springs $500.00 and new lifters if you have over 80k miles, and you can get adjustable cam pullies

its hard to find parts for the n/t thats why i went turbo. I mean you can maybe get them up to 200wheel horsepower if you do everything right before spending ton loads of cash with simple bolt on and drop in engine internals. but it takes a lot of money to make them fast as in on a competive level, but they have stuff out there just gotta research

Take a look at this sticky, it's a great idea to read this if you want to get serious about the n/a motor. It shows what things you need to aim for. http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12064

If you make some progress, let me know, I've got a n/a motor aswell but this DSM has eaten to much of my wallet for it to get treats currently.LOL

This post is kinda old I haven't done anything to my car yet but I've found some good sites now and got some good ideas thanks

Replacement parts - Autozone or local junk yard.
Performance upgrades - no idea its a 1991 shitbox. Stick a leafblower out the hatch for some boost LOL!!! J/k j/k I am in the same boat i have the same one. 92 hp and wont pull to save its life :(

way to revive a 8 year old post

Yea i didnt realize till after i posted. This is my first time using a forum so im still new to all of this. After reading as much as I have I also realized that the car I have will never be fast. Just another reliable 4 banger is all. Unless I throw like 3 grand into it. Even then it would only be as fast as a stock 2.0 dual cam :(

sell it and buy a turbo

Thats the plan XD I have a 94 explorer and they both run great. Gonna sell them both and get me some forced induction. never had one. Super excited for it. But im worried about the maintenance cost if there are any.

Had my Laser for 6 years, 198k on the odom, and 35K miles with no major issues.

Just the usual prevent maintenance of oil changes - in both motor and tranny (Redline MT-90) when needed.

Sure, being a 25 yr old vehicle, I've gone through two alternators, full timing belt changeout, a rebuilt ECU, all necessary replacement parts for the ignition, full brake overhaul and on my second set of tires, but that's to be expected due to the age.

All depends how you take care of things along with how you drive.

Myself, I'm a DD freeway driver, thus I've rarely pushed the vehicle to its limit. Thus, I know the vehicle will run another 100k miles.
