Ok so i helped my friend part out his car and i seen his throttle cable (motor was already pulled so i dont know how it was installed) it was just the cable that goes to the cruise control box on the firewall but was used as a non cruise cable how does this work i want it on my car his had so much more response than mine and he didnt do the mod or i would ask him LOL

the portion of the cable that connects to the CC box and goes to the pedal doesn't have the mounting bracket on the IM. If it did the person who installed it probably rigged it up.

Climb under the steering column and release the plastic clip (most likely yellow) from the gas pedal. remove the two bolts that hold in the cable at the firewall. 10mm bolts if I remember correctly. pull it through the firewall and unhook it from your TB. The the opposite for putting in the new cable.

Good luck. I bought a 2g non cruise cable a few months back. i still have a lot of slack in my cable. when i find time i plan on going back and trying to mod my old throttle cable.
