Im not sure what style injectors I need to purchase for my upgrade? I will be running dsm link v3 if that matters?

Im aiming for 450 to 500 with e-85, and running speed density with what I believe is a 60 trim turbo.

Running that power, or hoping to, on e85, you'll want around 2000cc injectors. That leaves you room to let the injectors run at say 80% idc instead of 100% or more. And it leaves you plenty of room to grow withoud adding cost to your build.

I also hope you decide to pick up another fuel pump to wire up in parallel (in case you were thinking a single wally 255 would handle that...)

Oh, and as said previously, low imp.

There are no 2000cc low impedance injectors, they are all high imp
The FIC bluemax injectors are the ones you'll look at if you want to stay low imp
It doesn't matter if they are low or high, just that you have enough fuel
Fic has a calculator on their page, 1450s would be enough for you at 80% cycle

adavanced fuel injection has low inmpedance 1600cc for 340.00 with free shipping. I think its a good deal but was told car willnidle like crap?

Last time I ran e85 I had 1200cc on there and they were at their max duty cycle. Thats why im confused at why I would be told the 1600s would make the car run bad at idle ?

It all depends man. You get those Bosch 1600s and they idle like complete garbage, gas or e85. Look it up. I have first hand experience. I would delete the resistor and go FIC 2150 or RC 2200.
Plenty of headroom for future mods. Dont be a dummy like me and end up buying 2 sets. I though id be on pump and be happy with "x" amount of hp....wrong. We always end up going bigger/faster so do yourself a favor and go with some big uns!

Edit: The bosch 1680s are a different story. Dont want to confuse the two

^^^ perfectly said. Buy high Imp FIC 2150 or RCI 2200 and get twin pump or a 450 walbro and call it a day, but you might want to look into fuel lines also. You will be at least maxing out the oem return line.

Ya know i thought fuel feed was an issue until I saw Kelton come damn near 700whp on STOCK lines! True though, i would just run 6 or 8 feed(8 preferably, 6 isnt a huge upgrade) and leave the return line alone. If you cant get idle pressures down to 43psi then you have one hell of a pump set up! In that case you would need a larger return line. In most cases the return line isnt an issue.

That's exactly what my tuner said was that the 1600s would idle like shit. What I don't understand is how would 2100 or bigger make that better ? Sorry to sound ignorant but I just don't understand. And as far as the fuel pump goes I've heard 2 different things... Either run 2 wallys in parallel or go with a automotive 1000 or the wallys 400 or 440. Im not sure whats in there now because the guy I bought the car from has done nothing but lie.

The newer fic, Id, rci, etc High z injectors are a much better design than the older low z injectors. I ran fic 2150's with a Walbro 450 on a 2.3 fp red auto setup. The car idled like stock. Cruise and tip in were perfect.

I have run large low z injectors before, and for idle, and drive ability the line is around 1200cc for a street car.
