I bought my car with a blown motor and have rebuilt just about everything on it. My #1 problem right now is that the car is not going into closed loop and the 02 is not cycling.

One problem is that I have DSMlink V1 currently and its not very easy to tune with. I'm going to try and upgrade to V3 in the next week or two.

I have a new ECT so that is most likely not the problem. I've fixed all my boost leaks. I have a new front 02 sensor and stock 2g MAF.

Pulling the following DTC's:
1) 02 Sensor Malfunction (rear)---- My rear 02 isn't hooked up
2) 02 Sensor rear Heater Circuit
3) Manifold differential pressure --- I have a Magnus intake manifold
4) Sometimes I get an EVAP code but I have all aftermarket fuel lines with an inline fuel lab fuel filter and don't think any of the EVAP
solenoid is there.

Is there anything else I can do with V1 to troubleshoot my open loop issue? Or should I just give up until I get V3?

Thank you

Thank you for that link!

I'm guessing my issue has something to do with "Throttle position too high (varies by RPM)" or "Airflow too low"

Attached is a datalog that I took. I just drove down the street.

The problem is that Link V1 doesn't allow me to monitor my TPS or adjust my MAF

Um, wow, that's extremely limited as to what you can view and adjust. But, based on that log, I don't see your o2 sensor cycling within the first minute. Have you tried doing a warm start with the coolant temp being up to see if the o2 sensor starts cycling earlier?

I don't think I've ever seen someone have an issue with "Airflow too low" and yours is reading normal, so I doubt it's that.

Have you set your TPS with a multimeter? Unless it's way out of whack, I'm guessing it's probably not that one either.

Yeah V1 is very limited. I've been trying to watch the ECM tuning Demo's and V1 has none of the features they show. I'm going to make the upgrade as soon as I can. In like a week or two at most.

Yes, I have done a warm start and it does the exact same thing. Everything else on the car is running pretty good but that dang o2 just wont cycle.

I haven't set my TPS yet with a multimeter. I'll give that a shot.

I really appreciate your help. I've kind of ran out of ideas on what could cause this.

snowborder714, I got V3 this weekend and have been going through basic tuning. Something I did fixed my issue. It goes into closed loop as it should.

Feel like my EGT's are running a little warm now (1250-1350 while 3rd or 4th gear just cruising). Set my base timing and that seemed to help a little. Just glad my open loop issue is solved.
