Hey guys so I finnaly got my 2g running had to buy a new transmission it's a 6 bolt swap with. A 1g transmission. Non turbo tranny for now. Well itwas running all good and gra d then the slave cylinder piston bent so I took the internals out of it (spring and piston and green part the piston goes into) and put 1g internals in. Idk if it's a 2g one or not or even if there's a difference but now the piston seems over extended and I can't get my car into gear and the clutch keeps getting stuck to the floor like bleeding it isn't working or something. Anyone had similar issue or know why it's doing this? Thanks in advance

I would bet you would need the proper slave cylinder for your trans. Check out extreme psi. Did your shift cables fit ok swapping in a 1g trans?

Actually the 1g transmission works fine in the car and yeah I mean pushrod my bad.

Yeah cables work fine the car was doing fun until the pushrod got bent so I swapped out pushrod piston and spring and now it's like overextended

1g trans cannot bolt into a 2g. What do you mean over extended? Fork position should be fixed no matter what slave is doing.

It's a 1g transmission I pulled it out of my completly stock talon to put it in car stop telling me it can't be done when it's what I did. I just need to know why my clutch won't work not argue what transmission is in my car when I know what it is. Not trying to be rude or anything. But I know what I'm doing and I have 2 friends that work on dsms for income.

There are no bolt holes on the front and rear of the transmission to bolt the front and rear roll stop mounts to. So you are saying that you have no front and rear motor mounts? If so, that is a far bigger problem than a slave cylinder issue.

Cleaned up the thread, along with a few posts. Maybe we could help you better with photos of the transmissions bolted in and the slave cylinder you're trying to use.

Pictures are worth 1000 words, post them up!

Dude I know what's done to my car. All mounts are boltedup. You don't know me so don't act like your better than me. Take your negativity to another thread.

If you have a 2g with a 1g transmission than it doesn't have front and rear mounts. This is nothing about anyone thinking they are better than you, this about us knowing more than you on the specific topic. It is called experience. I can post up pics of the difference if you would like. Do you know how many times this specifically has been covered on this site?

Notice how the mount is bolted to the 2g trans

Notice that there are no mounting holes on this transmission for the mount

As for the original question, if you are bleeding it and it isn't leaking from the slave than you are either bleeding it wrong, or the master is bad. The slave will leak fluid when it is bad.
