Hello fello DSMers. My name is Brandon. I just acquired my 3rd DSM but my first 2g 3 days ago. My 1st DSM was a 94 Eclipse GS n/t. 2nd DSM was a modded 91 Talon TSI AWD. My 3rd and current is a 95 Talon TSI AWD. The car was recently rebuilt as a 2.3l stroker, ARP Studded, wiseco pistons, eagle rods, 100mm crank, and balance shaft delete. Also has 3 inch turbo back exhaust, hard intercooler piping, greddy knock off bov (recirculating), and a big front mount intercooler. Other than the mods listed the car is bone stock. The car has a few bugs that need worked out in it, like cutting out at 4k, bad lifter tick, and overfueling. Once I have gone through everything and fixed the known issues and maintenance items the modding will begin :D

i fixed the cutting out part now. replaced front o2 and made a rear o2 simulator. it leaned out some but still way to rich. did a boost leak test and found some leaks from the boost elbow (no gasket), and the BISS. I have to wait for my next day off to get a BISS oring then do another test. thanks for the insite though!

Welcome and nice start just sounds like it needs some fine tuning. What turbo are you running?

Borrowed my buddy's compressor and found more leaks. First it wouldn't hold 1psi, replaced tb elbow gasket, and biss o ring (still leaks :( ). Retested and now gets to 4-6 psi and leaks from the tb shaft seals. So I have been looking into installing a 1g tb or maybe the larger 1g N/T tb. Have been reading write ups on the 1g tb to 2g manifold.

Currently it has the stock t25 and stock boost pressure. I do have a small 16g turbo with a lot of shaft play that I thought about rebuilding. After fixing all known issues with the car I will start adding upgrades. Goal of 700awhp on e85

i have a 2g TB sitting that worked perfect on my car when it was running. also as far as your build goes good luck I awd swapped my spyder, ill be on e85 and hoping to see 800-900awhp. we shall see. if you need anything such as a turbo manifold let me know. I make them. bottom mount, forward facing, top mount. you name it and I can do it.

Alright thanks! I was looking into the HX40 turbo's. It will take some time with getting all the parts with the house payment now but atleast I have a garage to work out of now instead of a rocky driveway :D

eBay has some good TB and if u research it before buying it I have had good luck with them running 8psi with a t4 turbo and a 12-1 fmu pulls hard have had no problem out my TB

Nice! I ended up picking up one for 30 bucks at the junk yard. 63mm inlet and 60mm outlet tb. Cleaned up some of the car, ported the manifold, replaced a few small hoses and now it hold some boost. Found the brake booster leaks some but once you touch the pedal it stops. Took it for a test drive and it runs way better. Haven't had a chance to have anyone follow me to check for black smoke. Oh also cleaned the plugs and regapped them.

Been a while since i have been on here. Fix the boost leak. Replaced the tb and was ok til 10 psi. Added 2 brake booster check valves in the booster vacuum line off of a honda and no more boost leaks. Now the car is on 1000cc injectors and evo 8 ecu. Soon to be e85 and hx35 t3 twin scroll.

Have not contacted anyone as of yet on the manifold. Been saving up for a few other things first
