I inherited some lowering springs from a buddy, and the only reason I used them was bc I desperately needed new struts. My front lateral arms were replaced a year ago, and I replaced the compression and upper c arms after I lowered (as well as new shocks), but the ride is still extremely noisy and almost sounds like bad ball joints esp on the pass side. Before I go replacing the lateral arms again, is it possible that the bushings or ball joint popped when I lowered her, or is this just how it's gonna be with crappy springs?

Some crappy matrix springs. The ball joints look OK, but the bushings look a little hinky, compared to those on the new ones I haven't installed yet. By lowering the car, did the bushings get squished? Would this cause all the racket?

I replaced them after I lowered. There's no play. Basically, the only suspension part that wasn't replaced after lowering is the lateral (straight) arm. I didn't think it was necessary since they were less than a year old. The streets around here are like Beirut, and this is starting to drive me nuts.

Popping issues over bumps and when turning the wheel? I have the same problem. I also replaced almost everything and i have no movement in suspension parts as well.

Possible crappy links i bought auto parts brands and i regreted it since.
Possible inner tie rods as well as outer (check for movement)
Possible loose motor mounts

Well I think i found the problem. The ball joints were shot and one of the bushings was blown. Probably should've loosened everything up before I lowered. Now my alignment's jacked. Gonna have to fiddle with the ol' tie rods. Woohoo!:beatentodeath:
