So last night I tried teaching my girl to drive manual. bad idea, she kept her foot on the gas between shifts and I heard a horrible crackling noise. Figured out it was the alternator belt which is now fixed, when this happened my car overheated and the oil pressure gauge shot to 100 and is still there even starting the car leaving it sit over night. The car was pretty hot got about 3/4 when I shut her down. Belt is on but gauge is still 100, and ideas what this could be? I disconnected battery terminals to try to reset, still same thing.
