I know obviously it is possible. But is it possible without taking them apart? Like just take the seat belts out of the car and throw them in some rit dye. I know the clip and little rubber thing around the rear female part wouldnt dye but those could be painted. Also, were the spyders ever made with black seat belts? I know the 3gs were. Last question, I've seen write ups on how to make 3g seatbelts fit, but what about 4g seatbelts?

I put 3G black Spyder belts in my Spyder. You will have to use the belt 3G and all parts from the 2g mounting system. I did redye them black since they were faded big time.

99 spyders came with black belts.
I've read your walkthrough on how to change the belts, I'm just not that confident in myself to disassemble my belts. Do you know if the dye would damage the mechanism if submerged?

Be aware that some people have said that dying a seat belt weakens it and could cause it to break in an accident. I would just go to a junk yard and find some 3G seat belts to replace the belt.
