I made it out to the track last week with my 16g set up and it went 10.82 @ 121.86 with a 1.56 60'. All the patience paid off. It is a 5 speed car. With a a better 60' and more time I could have this car in the 10.5x range. There is some timing left on the table. Heres a quick run down of the car.

:thumb: Congrats on the time, nice to see another 16G / 5 speed banging out these times.

We dropped our 42R set-up for the 16G and now were having so much fun with the car (circuit & drag). Plus we haven't broke anything in two years..

Impressive! What clutch? Stock 5 speed awd trans?

I am running a south bend SS pressure plate with a ACT unsprung 6 puck disk.

Thanks to Tim Zimmer it shifts like butter at 7800-8000rpms. The trans is a mildly built AWD 92 trans with all new syncros and bearings. It has a double syncro 2nd gear, it shimmed tightly, and it as a welded center diff. Other than that it is mostly stock.

Hell yeah. You can't beat a 16g set up. I absolutely love it. It spools instantly and runs solid 10s.

hell there was a guy from my neck of the woods at shootout last year running nines on a hot piped 16g. i think its tyler from force engineering

Yeah. This is a bit more of a street car, not quite full race car LOL.

Exactly, there is a huge difference between a "gutted auto pop can" and a 5 speed street / track car.

Nice. This is what the Evo3 16G is all about, the ability to own a 10-second "stock turbo" car. I would definitely be dreaming if my car ran 10s on one.

What psi were you running?

I think the asking price is legit.

Very nice car. Ill add this one to one of my favorites. For some reason a 10-second GT35R car doesnt have that "awe" factor for me.

Thanks man!

I think the price is pretty fair as well. It has a brand new motor and trans and tons and tons of new parts. Plus, where can you find a 10 second car for $6500?

Yep. I had a blast with the car but I now want to build another car. I got everything I could ever ask for out of a full weight 5 speed car.

I was about to ask how much the car weighed, but you answered already. Damn, full weight? Congrasts man, that's freakin' awesome.

Thanks man! Don't get me wrong, it does have minor weight reduction like a manual rack, deleted A/C but thats about it. But the whole interior is there.

This was my question. I love seeing cars pulling 1.5mph on me run 1.4 seconds quicker on a turbo that flows 2/3 of what mine does... :banghead: In a way it gives me hope but it others makes me feel like poo!! Great times nonetheless!! Have a time slip pic?

nice, grats.
I've been considering trying to go for the 10 sec milestone on my 16g, though I worry I'd have to change too much of my setup to do so. Still on stock 6bolt, 2g maf, 2g mani, stock o2, - no porting. Then I definitely can't afford slicks right now. Running some BFG Drag Radials and a stock trans and act2600. Ran 11.6@112mph with my intercooler piping blowing apart before the finish in 4th last friday night.
Really would be cool to be one of the few 5 speed 10 second 16g cars though. Either way I'm not getting rid of my 16g either, like you said the turbo is just plain simple fun.
