About to start tuning on my 2.4l and I need to know what kind of airflow per rev should i be looking for at idle? I know on a 2.0 around .25. So what should i be seeing on a 2.4. Thanks in advance. Trying to get this thing to idle with gsc 280 cams has not been fun.

I'd say with those cams in a 2.4l engine airflowperrev should be ~ 0.35gm/rev with a M/T.

Your LoadFactor in DA should be 83% with a 2.4 and verify your ISCPosition is 30-, if it isn't adjust the BISS in/out to get it there.

Once you verify the above, be sure you're making MAFComp slider adjustments OR SD VE cell adjustments to get your airflowperrev where it needs to be, then use the injector deadtime adjustments for your combineft's to 0% (+/- 5%).

Thanks for all the help. I should have car back tomorrow and I'll start working on the idle, currently I just had to adjust the throttle screw to 4% so it would kinda idle so I could get the rings seated didn't want to try to idle needed to get it moving as this is a brand new motor. Has 220 miles now so i don't mind to try and fix this idle problem

I have all these verified, but still no good idle. What kind of timing do you run at idle. With the ground timing checked it idles much better than when i don't have it checked, but I have lowered the timing at 1000 rpm where i'm trying to idle and it still doesn't want to idle really, hunts around and between 1000 and 1400, but the bad part is while driving everytime I try to come to a stop it almost always dies. I'll try to get a log posted here soon as i can.

Timing has been verified. I need to boost leak test for sure, but as long as a leak isn't after the maf it couldn't cause this problem.
