I've been having the idle surge/low output issue on my 2g. I found this through a post right here on tuners and am thinking about ordering one for my 2g.
Just an idea for you...
Use ceddymod evo 5/6 for ecu selection in evoscan.
I don't think you'll be able to log boost using the stock mdp
You need to open the big maps rom from the rommetadata folder with ecuflash using the folder icon in the upper left corner. If it's not there you may need to get it from ceddy if it's...
I believe your questions will most likely be answered. Some newb questions may be met with those that huff and puff about using the search or not enough info given.
It seems like the arent many people using ecuflash
Wondering what could cause my timing advance to keep jumping to 5*.
I just switched to SD
FIC 1220, HY35, hks 264/272, egr delete, old tps but works fine as far as can tell in the logs.
lb/min is also way off but I'm unsure if that would throw off the timing advance.log attached
I had done all that you were questioning about except flashing with the SD specific ROM. Sometimes it's the very basic things that get you.
Now I'm running on SD.
Thank you
With ecu flash open, Ceddy Mods, Version and Extras Info.

Well I turned off the mdp code in the periphery bits section of ecu flash and that issue is fixed but now I'm have the same issue as ghost.
Seems like nobody uses ecuflash anymore
I keep getting a maf code when I unplug the maf sensor. The afr also goes down to 9 and the car won't idle.
I've been logging the map sensor and I've got everything else ready to switch over.
I'm wanting to switch to SD so I recently installed an omni 4 bar map sensor and now I'm getting an mdp malfunction dtc.
I followed ceddys instructions on install aa far as map calibration goes. Is the something I'm missing?
For those of you innovate lc1 users bosch #17014 is a genuine replacement wideband sensor. The mtx-l on my bike uses the same sensor.
I think from now on I'll only use the mopar combustion chamber cleaner.
