Did you re-torque the studs after a couple heat cycles before putting big boost to it? I always find that they move around a lil and always need to be re-torqued . Also what do you have them torqued to? Because You blew the hell out of that gasket.
I don't know who built it but it looks bad ass on the car. Only thing is the turbo pushes out on the bumper. So may have to trim it up a lil or just build a different one which will probably happen.
I agree that most DSM's end with part outs but I can promise it will not be parted out. We are gonna try to get it up and running this winter with the part's we have and add what we can as funds permit. Suppose to be heading out to Haltech this week to pick up Sport2000 & custom harness...
We had them built for us by the chassis shop that did the rest of the car. I pretty much designed the whole thing . We have one in each of our cars. Still got 5 left over

I use to be a budget builder and I have actually ran those pistons and they worked fine .Just make sure you tune it and don't advance the timing much on gas.E85 would be better for reliablility
