So im going speed density on my 98 GSX w/ black box ecu. my only question ast the moment is can i go with the plug anf play set up from ecm link putt am i going to have to figure out how to wire it up myself? Anyone thats done this can you let me know what you did, info would be greatly appreciated.
I appreciate it. I'm definitely looking at everyone's set-up and seeing what they did and why. I know it's going to be a long and costly process and i want to do everything right.

Block wise I wanna keep it stock, I have a spare block that's being built with Manley turbo tuff rods, weisco 9.0:1 pistons with a .20 bore. And eagle crankshaft just in case I fall short of 500 on a stock block with arp studs. As far as the head goes im going to run Gsc 274 cams, 1mm oversized...

So upon going to get the parts for a oil change I noticed the car was over heating so I decided to break it down in the autozone parking lot and behold. It was missing a thermostat. So as of now new thermostat, fresh oil change, new oil filter, and all new belts. Next up new brakes and rotors.
