@OHM_Racer im guessing the “Tach Signal” would be the white wire? I got the rear switch delete and also the wiper delete. I am simply left with 2 wires for a 18 pin connector. A white wire and orange wire which would be for the coolant gauge. So my best guess would be the white for the tach...
Hello you guys. I’m installing a stage 2 for a 1g. Still a bit confused with the harness having both right in front of me. There is a harness path that goes to a fuse box on the right side of the vehicle fender. Do I have to remove the old wires and adapt it with the new ohm harness? Also there...
Start off by getting rid of that wideband and get yourself a Innovative LC2 WB. Along with that, forget about the maf and go with SD. Much simpler and more affective in my opinion.
You got the wrong sensor. That’s a 2g style sensor. You have to get the other type of gm map sensor and make sure you run it’s own vacuum line for accurate manifold pressure.
Long story short I’m removing all the crap I don’t need on my wiring harness to run a cleaner engine bay. Ran into a 2 wire connector that I can’t figure out what it is. It was just dangling there and I didn’t realize it. Looked everywhere to find information but I couldn’t find any. Can anyone...
Stay as much detailed as you can please. My AT is getting built as we speak and I have a MT dsm that i will also convert into a AT. When i bought the drivetrain of the AT the wiring on the trans is all jacked up (cut up, spliced, etc) hope it doesnt become a problem. Im also well concerned about...
You shouldn't really mess with them unless your really doing piston to valve clearance and everything and wanting a specific cam LSA. A lot of big powered 4g63's are just degreed at "0" making lots of good power.
You should be able to advance more timing and lean out just a bit more on fuel. Your running pretty safe. I pulled off around 11:5 AFR with 17* degrees with no knock on 91 octane, then went to e85 and went 12:4 AFR with 19/20 degrees with no knock. I want to go more but I'm a high mileage long...
I actually did my timing belt not so long ago and I ran into a similar problem and no matter what I did I couldn't get it to be perfect so I gave up on it and I let it be like that and everything's perfectly fine but I have only about 10hg of vacuum because of my 272 cams but no biggie. If your...
Looks good man. Just got my dsm out of the dead as well but my engine bay looks nothing as nice as yours. Keep it up man!! Keep us updated on the build.
