So, today I finally got my Nexus 7 installed in my dash. If you have the factory in car amp under your seat, and the Metra 70-7003 wiring harness, all you need is a couple sets of RCA Y splitters and a RCA to 3.5mm adapter. Simply hook that up to your wiring harness's 4 RCA's and the 3.5mm into...
LOL. yeah. its very convenient to have hair binders there :). i can tether wifi through my phone. it actually turned out pretty nice. i can play pandora, watch youtube, etc.right now, honestly, its just taped to my bezel until i fix a minor issue of the tablet being a little too thick so the...
I wanted to get rid of the headunit all together. I figured it out. If you already have a factory amp, its as simple as buying (2) 2 to 1 RCA Y's and (1) 2 RCA to 3.5mm. then just hook up anything you want and push play on your device. I have my tablet installed in my dash. I was actually...
I checked your page and read through how you did it. But, my question pertained to an installation with a factory amp. you apparently didn't have a factory amp.
Very nice job with you car!!!
hello,I am looking into installing a tablet in my dash as my stereo. I have a factory amp under the dash and have previously had an aftermarket HU with the wiring harness that converts that "black plug that goes to my factory amp" into 4 RCAs. They were just plugged into my HU that had 2 sets...
Did you have a factory infinity amp? im trying to hook up a tablet in my dash but in trying to figure out what to do with the 4 RCA's that my speaker wires for an aftermarket dash install.
I am the same person as above.... i forgot my password, wasn't on my home computer..
anyways, my adventure in trying to fix my car continues.here is the mess we made in the first pic.
second pic is with the cylinder removed.
third pic is the ignition switch we messed up.I ordered the...
Was it on the camshaft or crankshaft that he jumped the teeth?I just got done replacing my timing belt. My crankshaft pulley was off its mark by at least 6 teeth. My valves are fine, luckily. If its the cams that are offset, then chances are the valves are probably messed up.
Turns out it was the master cylinder. It's a pretty quick fix. A few bolts and disconnect the lines, and pin inside the car. Swap in new and reconnect. Bleed the system. It's good to go. Thanks to the forum. I used previous posts about similar issues to troubleshoot the problem.
When you say piston do u mean the fork that the slave cylinder engages? It moves and engages. I really don't think the issue is with with the actual clutch, or anything inside the transmission unless it was the throw out bearing...I've bled the clutch 2 times. Each time the only air that...
ok, so on a very cold day, I was having issues shifting. After the car was parked for a while, I couldn't get it to shift at all. I ended up starting the car in first and "gear flowing" all the way home. since then, I have done some research and bled the slave cylinder, check the boot and there...
