An open t3 .70 hotside 60mm hx40 spooling before 4500 sounds extremly early, most t3 .70 hx40 seem to full spool around 4700-4900rpms. But I agree, the .55 bolt on hotside is inferior to the t3.
It will all be in the tune, and using E85 as the fuel will make it easier/possible to hit 400whp with your hardware, although most seem to average around 350-380whp with a evo 3 16g on e85 with supporting mods. Being FWD, traction will be your main concern well before 400whp.
28 psi from a something like a 6466 will create alot more cylinder pressure than 28 psi from say a hta68. Its not the boost psi, its the cylinder pressure in the many thousands of psi from combustion.
Most likely better spool but less top end on the bolt on gt3076. I have ran a gt10 version of the bolt on gt3076 which is smaller on compressor and turbine and flowed 45lb/min at 26 psi, full boost at 3800 rpm.
I will order a standard 2.5" flange to make an o2. I was just wondering because the FP vband flange clamping edge looks really low compared to what I see elsewhere listed as 2.5. Thanks for reply
I have a fp30 style housing on the way, does anyone know if standard 2.5 inch v band flanges work with the fp30's 2.5 outlet or is the flange a forced performance specific size? Thanks
Nice, I like how well it is holding power up top. I notice your hta68 has the larger compressor housing, and looks like you reach peak boost around 4300-4400rpm with your setup?
To get some good data you really need to do a WOT pull in 3rd gear from 2.5-3k rpm up to about 8k, if you can do this while staying safe! Watch your wideband afr's, they are a good bit off of your requested DA values at WOT. You are moving some serious air and making power though!
