Planning on getting a/c back. I have a 6bolt block with a 7 bolt head. Trying to find out if a 2g bracket and tensioner will work or if I need the 6bolt stuff.
When my crank walked it actually ate through the timing cover. So I would imagine the sensor would have to be broken to indicate a crank walk condition
Ya, 100 and 110 is salty in Indiana, at least $8 a gallon vs under $2 for E85. I don't understand why they say to adjust it and then say, they don't recommend adjusting it.
I want to switch to E85 and I'm trying to find out how to get my A/F sensor to read lambda. I have aem 30-4100 and it came with a lambda face plate. The instructions are a bit contradicting. It gives a procedure to calibrate followed by this statement. "AEM Lambda Gauge Owners: Because the...
Brake fluid is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture. Sitting for 6 years is definitely enough time for the brake fluid to become contaminated and corrosive.
Bleeding these clutch systems can be a B*TCH! You'll defiantly need two people to do it. Do a search for how to bleed the clutch system, theres tones of articles!
This is the exact tool I use for every job, fits almost anything, you just have to hold the rubber down until you get some vacuum going and then it will hold itself
Vacuum bleeding is the easiest, fastest, and most efficient way to do it. I pull the system down to -20mmhg for 3-5 minutes 3 different times, checking the fluid level after each time. When you start it up it wont make a peep!
Yes, as long as you don't plan to do any road racing. I removed mine a few years ago and haven't had any issues. My exhaust manifold sits very close to the rad. as well
Update:Shifts nice enough to drive but still not ideal. I little clunky going into the gears, and reverse can be a B*tch.-Clutch starts to engage arount 3 3/4" off the floor
-Clutch at rest sits higher than brake
-Rev to 4K off the ground, wheels did not move ( i know you should go...
Clutch rod is within 1/2 turn of blocking return port. I've tried an extended slave rod with no change in quality.Tomorrow I'm going to bleed the system another 30 times and do a complete clutch reality check again with the car off the the ground and double check everything. Will post results.
Yes it use to be an auto, now a 5speed. Transfercase and diff came from same doner car.I just replaced the master and slave with oem parts and bleed the system outside of the car. Got it back in and still acts the same. Put clutch hydraulic system under 25 inhg for 24 hours with no change as we
