Im not sure on the spec, but theoretically yes it should not over heat or get up to operating temp. I've driven my camaro on a stuck open thermostat for about 200 miles till I could swap it.

I have a 255 and have been DD'ing it with a stock FPR for almost a year now.

Pull the thermostat and see if it still starts to overheat.

It IS the dimmer switch.

My PO did a hack job removing the back bumper for whatever reason and cut off the connector from the reverse/plate lights to the body harness and I am not having an easy time finding a new harness.Is there anywhere I can purchase one?
