    Shouldn't you just be able to use a gs-t or a gsx tach? Also you should be able to use a 2g turbo harness modded to fit the evo8 ecu.

If you cut and replace the mounting tabs on the frame for fitment of a 3g trans, the evo one may be different and potentially in the stock 420a tranny location as I have heard.
