I will advice to go thru all the electrical carefully as I had very similar issue. I am still jn the process of fuse box and battery reloaction but I wanted to start the car but it would not. I learned that I had too much voltage drop coming to my aem boost gauge, which I am using for speed...
I both that kit with both bushings. Unfortunately I am in the process of relocating my fuse box with the battery to the trunk so my car is down for the moment and the way my schedule looks, I won't be installing these anytime soon. But when I do, I will try and I say try to remember about this...
12 point is good when the bolt is rounded off slightly so you take 12 point and hammer it on. Some head bolts are 12 point and some axle nuts are 12 point. If you have them then use them, if you consider buying them then don't, maybe one set just in case but that's about it. Out of all the...
I got stuck once when the plastic/rubber stopper on the clutch pedal broke and the clutch switch would not activate. So easy thing to check to see if the switch even hits the pedal
I would connect everything back up and go to coolant temp sensor and verify that you have ground and 5 volt across the two pins. If not then Identify what you are missing, the ground or the 5 volt. I will assume the ground. Go back to ecu and repair it or give it battery battery ground for...
If that leg is part of sensor ground, then you need to look at the diagram and identify how many sensors are using it. Also I would reconnect everything and go to those sensors and verified ground and then continuity all the way back to the ecu.
Checked the power and the ground for ecu to start. Pull the diagram and identify the power and ground on the pins obd connector. Check continuity on the communication lines and identify all modules on the circuit. Remove one at a time to see if communication will restore.
The only issue that I have is that it is on the connector that has slight discoloration. Thats why you can flip the board and and check to see if that leg is actually burned or was it from something else. Normally you check the capacitors for leaks, those you can change out yourself. You will...
That looks cooked. Try to follow the board and see if you can do continuity on that circuit. That could be a driver for something and that something is killing the board. Identify the pin on the connector of the ecu and go from there.
Just some food for thought. About a year ago I had a Savanah with crank to start. Many parts were replaced before it got to the shop. Many things we checked and few things repaired/replaced. We did start it but it ran rough. In the end it was low compression. So, first you need to make...
I did and thats why I am asking as awd rack is not available. I would think that they are the same but then why have differant racks. I actually watched your video, thanks for making them.
