Does anyone know what is causing this leak? It is at the outlet of the turbo, my engine has been leaking oil and I am pretty sure this is the main reason for it. There is definitely something leaking from here because when I start the car and rev it a little bit there is a wet gunk here. Is it...
Wouldn't that reduce the flow since the catch can breather port is bigger than the intake pipe port? The tubing would get smaller in diameter, restricting the flow.
What if someone were to just replace their suspension with solid bars rather than coilovers/shocks for a race-only car? It would be the stiffest suspension possible, as well as reduce the weight of the car slightly. Would it be worth it for the cornering? Would there be any pros to using this...
So I have my Evo 0 I am still working on and I have a breather catch can (wrong type for this car) that was included by the previous owner. I'm a poor teenager that doesn't want to spend $15-30 on a branded/ebay catch can and I don't know how to do any type of fabrication, I know oil catch cans...
I am having some kind of leak right at my turbo (16g Evo 3 turbo,) it is a dark colored gunk that completely covers the pipe the turbo is connected to. Any idea what this leak could be? Can it be one of the reasons it keeps stalling? How would I fix it? And I am looking for someone near...
Would anyone happen to know where I could get an aftermarket hood for my 1991 Galant VR4? Or if anyone even makes them? I can't find anyone online selling them. If not, are there any places that make replacement hoods because I wanna try fabbing some shit on my old hood and removing some weight...
Cheeko the noob here, my 1g 4G63T is leaking oil like crazy and its pissing me off. I'm finding most of the oil on top of the tranny. I replaced the valve cover gasket so far because it was ripped but I haven't tried starting it yet because it's having other problems at the moment. When I got it...
I made a diagram of what I was thinking about doing with my oil catch can so I don't waste so much oil, just wanted to make sure it would work since I don't have a clue about oil catch cans. I was going to tee the two lines coming off of the valve cover and then have them go to the vented oil...
How would I get the 3 bolt one to fit? It's not that it wont go on it's that there are still parts being held in from the 2 bolt part that won't come out that block the rest from going in, unless the correct part doesn't have the actual valve in it and its just hollowed out so the valve that is...
The 3 bolt one is only half of the IAC for the 2g 4G63T I have. The other half that connects to the intake manifold that holdes the actual valve in place has 2 bolts. It doesn't have the stock GVR4 engine, it has a swapped Eclipse GSX 4G63T.
It was the front/top of it without the part that attaches to the manifold. I was able to get the part off that this replaces but I couldn't get the rest of it off where the valve was, so it wouldn't fit. I used a screw driver because it had the rounded edges, it won't fit a socket. The full part...
