Impossible to tell what those wires are my friend. Sorry. I would think its highly unlikely that those cut wires under the dash are affecting your car though. All of the engine harness wires go out in the middle of the dash, no wires are exposed.

So, my hypothesis is that NONE of the important wiring for any of the engine components are affected by these cut wires.

Now, those wires could be going to anything in the interior. Even the fusebox harness doesn't run under the dash, they connect far under the dash against the drivers side panel.

I would start by checking all connections in the engine bay. IF you think the tps is broken, just see if you can swap in another from a friend, or get a used one etc.

Good luck,

-Brady

Well for some reason my cars CEL doesnt work and the obd2 port didnt work I put another good ecu inside it so I could try to plug it up to obd2 again. I can try unplugging my maf and starting it could this have to do with my turbo timer? Like it starts up fine around 1500 rpm and then it just dies after a few seconds? I wanna get this fixed so bad idk what the issue is.

I tried disconnecting the maf and starting it when it started it was a lot louder at idle but it showed the same symptoms of dying after a few seconds. I found these two connectors not plugged into anything in my engine bay and its not the crankshaft position sensor connector its somethin else...

Thanks for that but I still need to figure out why my car dies after a few seconds now I just bought it a new tps from auto zone so ill try configuring that and seeing how it goes from there. I know at WOT i should read close to 5v but what is the specification for it closed im sure its like .40-.50 right?

.63 v at closed throttle

No the isc is still hooked up and i dont see any pipes off everything is hooked up to my intercooler. I even tried a new tps it didnt change anything.

i know how to do one but how am I gonna do that if it doesnt even stay running more than 4 seconds. Also only a major boost leak would cause shut down like this but all my ic pipes and intake pipes are connected so that couldnt be whats causing this.

My Haynes Repair Manual
For these scenarios: 1. Engine Stalls, or 2. Engine Stumbles on Acceleration, or 3. Engine misses throughout driving speed range.

Manual suggests:

Check emissions components (See chapter 6, I didn't read it yet) | Scenario 1,3
Check spark plugs for fouling | Scenario 1,2,3
Check wires for damage/short | Scenario 1,2
Fuel Filter clogged and/or water in fuel system | Scenario 1, 2, 3
Vacuum Leaks (do a Boost Leak Test) | Scenario 1, 2, 3
Low or uneven compression (do a compression test) | Scenario 3
Dirty, low output, or failing fuel injectors | Scenario 2,3

I would look at the issues that are present in all 3 scenarios to start.

Okay guys update i got it started the issue was a corroded terminal i fixed it for 4$. Now when you drive it it stumbles on acceleration and it shakes going into gear:/. I have a exhaust manifold stud missing that could be the issue due to exhaust leak as well as a small hole in my downpipe. Like my exhaust pops when you try driving it the mixture seems to be quiet rich.

Any Pre O2 sensor leak will tell the ECU that the mixture is LEAN (from the leak) and it will start adding fuel to the system. Probably a lot to do with the mix being rich, you say. What air fuel ratio is it running or is it a stock Eclipse?
Any way of logging??

Even if it looks like all of your hoses are connected, they still may be leaking. A BLT does not require the car to be on at all and will save you a lot of issues in the long run too. Trust me, ive been where you are. Fix the things you know are wrong with the car (exhaust leaks ) before moving on. These cars are very sensitive.

Yeah it does seem sensitive thats why i didnt run it a long time. Also i will look up the official way to boost leak test and fix my exhaust and report back. My friend said the backfiring could be timing off? I may even bring my vehicle to a mechanic to have it professionally inspected.

And you can fabricate your own boost leak tester from the hardware store or lumber yard.

Alright so basically all I did was remove my plugs clean em and redid my firing order 4123 going right to left if you stand in front of it and it fixed the car! I still get some hesitation but nowhere near as bad as before it runs fine.

Lol all he said was a boost leak test like okay it could be anything I can see a major boost leak shutting a car off but that would be visible anyways. Oh and if im wrong about that then how come my car run.
