Just wanted some feedback from the guys running the high z 2150s...... i recently sold my 1650s and purchased the 2150s. Now im being told that running e85 on them isnt a good idea? What experiences have you guys had. Im fully aware you cant run oxygenated or mtbe type fuels. Any info is appreciated.

They get rusty if you are not good about pickling them.
Ok, i had someone stop by who had them and told me it would be wise to sell them and go back to the 1650s. I didnt think id have a problem with e85 but thats what he was implying. Apparently one day his car started to sputter, he sent the injectors out to be tested and one of the injectors was down to 20%. He believes that this was caused by the e85? I wasnt so sure

Great injectors for e 85 in getting some once car is done lots of my friends run them on corn no problems .

They are meant for e85. Theh are bad with oxyginated fuels with MTBE. Thats it. I love the 2150’s
They're actually a repurposed cng injector that wasn't designed for liquid fuel. They work well, but I have seen numerous sets rusted shut from sitting with alcohol fuels in them.

The 1650's are designed for liquid fuels and have stainless internals.

That maybe since I have no first hand experience with either injectors or am in the fuel injection industry. I still think a lot of their tech articles in their library have a lot of good points and are definitely worth a read over to come to your own conclusions.

There's also injectors from fiveomotorsports that they claim are also the same. They are their black ops line and they are a lot cheaper also. I did some research last night and there's mixed reviews on them. Some love them some don't same with id2000 and fic 2150.

:cry::cry::cry:
If you want ultimate fuel and ability to run any fuel get 2 sets of 1650’s on a dual rail
same thing he said ....it does seem though however that alot of people are running them successfully. I literally just sold my 1650s to purchase my 2150s because I was running out of fuel. I think im going to run them and just tAke them out and when the car sits. The thought of buying 4 1650s :cry:

I took mine out when my car went down. Ran WD40 thru them and packed them away until the weather gets good enough to tear it down and fix it. I REALLY liked the way they transistioned from low to high pulsewidth's. Easy to tune too.

I have an intake for you!
What yah got? Instead of making another thread. What exactly is required? As of right now im running 8an feed and return with a aeromotive 1000 regulator. So can i basically just put a y on the feed from the filter and on the return? I planned on running the forced four injector driver with 8 1650s

I orginally had 1650s which I LOVED, bought the 2150s but I like to mix in race fuel so I went back to the 1650s. These are really the best option in my opinion. I dont want to worry about rust or anything else for that matter

If you want piece of mind / no hassle, and are going dual 1650's, why not get the ID1700X's and call it a day. /game in my opinion. :)
I personally, though, would go dual 1300's. Giving you a SH*T TON of room for growth, great idle/streetability, and guaranteed ease of tuning.

Also, all that's required for dual rails, is getting them fuel. Lol. Y's on both sides works.

How much power are you trying to make? What's your goal?
