i have a daily 96 auto gsx fully stock i have dsmlink v3 full in the car now to check whats wrong and i cant figure it out

start the car cold and goes to 750rpm and wont raise idle to warm up, im in long island ny and its cold right now, and for the life of me with all the research i cant figure this out! issue with my 2g dsm all options have been checked,

CEL FOR P0400 AND P0443 cant clear no matter what i do

-has fuel odor
-hot start dips low then comes up to idle at 750rpm
ecu checked for being burnt out (good) replaced with 2 other good ones i have here for a 96 gsx auto
eletrical connection cleaned and check for voltage (good)
MDP replaced and little hole was cleaned
tps in perfect sync and was replaced 3 times
replaced evap check valve and black cone plunger thingy
replaced and check ohm of all sensors and solenoids.
replaced coolant temp sensor
replaced, isc
replaced fiav
cleaned carb
no boost leaks, all vacuum lines are correct! (checked multiple times)
replaced maf
replaced egr
replaced fuel press reg.

im out of ideas and here is my log of idle for like 20 min, i was mainly setting the biss screw to 30 and learned idle adj to 144, am i missing a step after this?

I HAVE ALL SENSORS LOGGED PLEASE VIEW AND HELP ME

How about making a log for a cold start starting from before cranking. This log is after the car is running and the coolant temp is > 196. The log also doesn't have any DTC shown.

ill make a cold crank log right now, and no dtc because i had just cleared them moments before the log,
but are the sensors showing the right values at normal temp idle?

so this is what just happened, i put the ignition to the on position to hook up link, then once it started to stream i started the car and it idled up to 1500-1600rpm, never has it done this, but at the same time i never started the car cold by acc. on first waiting then starting, do you think is a fuel pressure problem, i never changed the pump but i did change the fuel pressure solenoid.

hot start- low idle problem log gas smell!
cold start- key turned to on waited 20 seconds then started- if i dont wait the car starts like a hot start

well i just replaces the fuel pump, and still nothing, but i think i have an issue with the pressure in the tank not venting properly, when i took the plastic ring off the pump there was a blast of air thhat came out! so whats next guys please help me out!

i just looked at my hot start log and it starts in open loop then goes to closed loop when the idle shifts?

If you look at the cold start log you also see that the car starts out in open loop before it goes into closed loop. What's interesting is how far the ECU has to enrich the mixture before the O2 sensor starts providing feedback.

Why did you change the fuel pump, what lead you to try replacing it?

i though maybe the o ring was bad or the pump its self, causing a pressure problem at start but nope new pump same problem. when i unplug the battery to reset everything the car starts and idles high for cold, this all makes no sense to me!!!!!

Fuel pump only runs during key cycle, not on accessory so it shouldn't make much of a difference in fuel pressure terms.

Mods please combine this with his other thread of very similar issues.

I still don't see a fuel tab in your log, one thing to try would be unchecking the "enable idle air clamp". I'm pretty sure you don't need this as stock it is turned off.

Also, constantly replacing stuff makes this really hard to diagnose. I know you probably need the car to run, but it is best to let the wisemen help you narrow it down a bit. You never now what else gets screwed up by replacing parts.

well all the parts that were replaced is making the car run the same im just tring to narrow down the problem, one though was the charcoal canister leaking and sucking in bad air but i allready changed and checked the 1 way valves and they work still.

Check it in general according to the factory specs given for our cars I know they're here somewhere in this site but if you can't do a Google search or check with your local AutoZone for the specs.

i know its 43.5 psi but ow do i check it with link to make sure its 43.5
I'm not sure what you mean. If your fuel pressure gauge in the engine compartment is correct, then whatever it is reading is the correct pressure. You can make sure you have that listed in Link by going to the fuel tab if I remember correctly. For example, if you upped your fuel pressure to 50psi then you would also want to update that value in dsmlink under the fuel tab.

wait!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just changed my fuel filter and holy crap, its legit the only thing i havent dont yet!!!!! loo at what back flowed out of it!!!! i think my filter was clogged! causing excess fuel pressure in the rail causing over fueling of the injectors! but will see the care is warming up now ill take it for a drive and log it!
