So I'm a noob. Would someone be willing to list the parts in the gsx engine? Cause I want to learn how to rebuild one. Again I'm a noob?

We were in the same boat. Used to working on Chevy til my husband wanted a 99 gst. The best thing we found that's been pretty handy for pictures and specs is a Haynes manual. It's very descriptive and easy to follow. Goes through an entire motor rebuild and talks about problems to look for while you're inside. I'd strongly recommend getting one. Think we got ours off ebay for about $20

I just searched for it and found them on there. Thanks for the tip!

Haynes manual is ok but if you can pick up a factory service manual. A lot more info then any other manual.
Would the factory service manua also have the engine rebuild in it as well?

You want a list of all the parts in an engine? Just go to any DSM parts site and go under the engine tab.
Will do, thanks.
How would I be able to tell what added horsepower each aftermarket part would be while looking for new parts?

IMHO don't waste your money or time with a Haynes or Chiltons manual. There's far too many things they don't cover, and/or are incorrect in them, as well as grouping many models/years together which is not correct (there's differences). They're ok for general maintenance but beyond that, especially rebuilds, they're nearly worthless. Stay with the Mitsubishi manual (eg. DSM Backup Service manual).

Here's some good Mitsu overhaul manuals:
