That pipe is direct bolton.

However, I always suggest getting a bigger pipe than you need in terms of turbo inlet size and using a reducing coupler. It allows you room for upgrading the turbo down the line.

On the other end, if you are using a stock MAF, you will need the pipe to be a 4" oval inlet. Filter size depends on how much clearance you have to your fenderwall. I find that my Vibrant filter fits nicely, has lots of surface area, and is pretty short.

I dont plan on upgrading my turbo anytime I'm too poor. but if it bolts right on which size would i want? 2 3/4" 3" or 3.5".? my battery is in the back too so i have quite a bit of room for a filter

OMG Your venting your BOV to the atmosphere on a stock maf. It's okay your new.:)

Well your car probably doesn't like it: runs rough at idle, pegs rich inbetween shifts, and just doesn't feel as good as it could.
Problem is the PCM/ECU (whatever you prefer to call it) is counting on all that metered air to be dumped back in to the intake tract to provide an adequate mix of air and fuel. Instead it has gone to the atmosphere.

If you insist on doing this go with a GM MAF translator as an easy solution.

As for an intake you can make your own at home depot or go with a reputable company like Dejon, just if you plan on using the stock MAF please ditch that BOV and recirculate it back into the intake.

You can get whatever size intake you would like. I personally run a 4" Dejon intake pipe with an FP reducer since I have a small 16g turbo. Yes, it's overkill, but when I finally get to a turbo that has a 3" or 4" inlet, it will be nice to have the big intake.

And I would decide on the filter after you get the intake pipe. Install it and everything else then measure how much room you have and get the filter that will fit.

Is the 1g MAF oval also I thought only the 2g MAF was oval???

1g maf is round, 2g maf is oval both are 4" i believe.

Upgrade to the 2g maf though, it allows room for improvement/ upgrades.
