Very limited number of brand new 1990 engine harnesses

We found some stuff!

I have a very limited number of BRAND NEW 1990 Turbo-Talon and Eclipse engine harnesses.

Everyone's harnesses are junk by now, broken connectors, spliced in crap, wires are brittle etc. At the very worse case you are going to start with all new wiring from the ECU to the engine, you may need to change an end or something but these things are brand new and beautiful to work with.

I needed a harness and after doing some deep searching we found these, so our new drag car will start with a nice fresh brand new harness.

I'd think they'd sell off fast too but I like new quality stuff, doesn't seem to be the normal way of thinking! haha

you are correct most DSMers don't want to pay for "new" but you and I think a lot alike on this one. I'll be calling the shop in a little bit to get one of these from you. Thanks for bringing this to the community.

These things are soo so sooooooooo hard to find in even decent condition. Wish I had the cash for one. Make me think about selling my cams just to get one.

David, any new 2g harness? Where did you find these maybe I can call them up and see if they got any for 2g

No 2g's, no 1991-94's. This is all I have. Anyone with a 1g should buy one, the difference from the 90 to the 91-94 is easily swapped/changed.

I just purchased mine, but then I thought... I have an awd dsm without abs, will that make a difference for the harness? Or are the fwd and awd harnesses the same?

no abs is a plug i believe with the rear speaker and passenger side seatbelt

This is the engine harness only, has nothing to do with the ABS.

There was some mix up on the harnesses. I ended up getting 3 turbo harnesses and 4 non turbo harnesses, made for a few phone calls and some discussions. The guys who had to have turbo harnesses got theirs and some others took the 2.0 NA harnesses, very little difference in the two. The NA harnesses were sold at discounts.

I have two harnesses left, both 2.0 NA harnesses. The differences I could see by comparing are the MAF wires are shorter on the NA harness, no knock sensor and no boost solenoid wire. Minor issues.

Anyone who wants one of these I'll do them for $350 each, two left and then that's it, no more left of any type for 2 liter turbo or 2 liter NT for any 1g's.

After the shootout we unloaded our trailer and stuff got tossed everywhere. Ends up we just found two more harnesses. These are the non-turbo 2.0 harnesses but as I've stated earlier, easy enough to make work on the turbo model and beautiful to start your project with. I had them down to $350 last time I posted, I have just these two left and if anyone wants them will do them for $325 shipped in the lower 48 States. This is for sure the last of these, nothing left anywhere now for the 1g's.

I still have two of these left and I sure don't want to pay tax on the inventory. These are NT harnesses, EASY to make the few changes for a turbo engine to them. Brand new in the boxes, $175 shipped.

Just a thought, if the modifications required to the harness are so minor, why not just fix up the last 2 harnesses you have, for an hour or two's time, and sell them off for $300+ rather than half what you were originally asking?

It'd likely serve both you and the community better. It's not too late to remove the eBay listings, is it? Thoughts?

That's an excellent idea, I'll make you a deal on the last two and you can do that and make the extra profit. As for me, I have mine and don't want to put any extra time or effort into these.
