ECMTuning: Shootout plans

Just to confirm for everyone, yes, we will definitely be at the shootout. We're sponsoring the max effort class, so we can't miss that! We'll be there Friday afternoon, all day Saturday and then Sunday until about mid-to-late afternoon or so.

I usually like going to the shootout just to hang out and relax. But we're going to actually setup a tent this year because so many people are looking to stop by and chat or pick up stuff in person or whatever. We're going to have boost sensors, SD cables, temp sensors, GM MAF cables, ECMLink packages and wideband kits out the wazoo.

And speaking of wideband kits, we ordered WAY, WAY too many LC-1 kits without gauges when we signed on with Innovate. If you're looking to pick one of these up soon and don't have any use for the gauge, then see if you can hold out until the shootout and stop by our tent...we're going to cut you a deal on one...

Hope to see everyone there! Just look for the big ECMTuning flag.

You should bring the injector test rig and put it behind a curtain. You could charge admission like a carnival, and test people's injectors on the mystical machine.

It looks like we're going to be able to do an open talk session on ECU/ECMLink stuff on Saturday. It's kinda last minute, so it's going to basically be a chat session where we all bounce questions around and just see what comes up. Listen for an announcement on Saturday for the meet time. Mr. Buschur is scheduling the media center for it. I'll see about putting up a big projection of our laptop on the screen or something and maybe we can walk through some stuff that way. Should be a lot of goodness to it. The last time I did something like this, it was really a lot of fun and I think we hashed out a lot of concepts really quick like.

See you guys there!

That's really cool, Tom! Definitely looking forward to this.

I could probably get some sort of streaming or at least screenshare setup if Tom would be down for it. I'll talk with him tomorrow about it and get his thoughts.
