It is a well-known fact that the OEM balance shafts found in the 4G63/4G64 spin at twice the speed of the crank and that at higher RPM, vibration can be experienced internally. The GSC race balance shaft will go in place of the OEM balance shaft and support the oil pumps operation even at extreme RPMs for added durability and reliability. GSC’s race balance shaft includes everything you need to install and eliminate both balance shafts from your engine so if your plans include building the 4G63 or 4G64 motor and you want to reduce internal weight/rotational mass, make sure you install one of GSC's Race Balance Shaft kits. No, you will still have to flip the front two bearings in order to block off the oil gallery.
