Thanks! Glad to be here. Since I'm fairly new to the turbine housing sizes on the turbos you guys are using. I'll be asking for the flange to flange measurement on the exhaust housing so I can make a properly sized blanket. Here's a reference pic of the measurement I'm talking about. Same measurement applies to all turbos regardless of flange type. From the edge of the flange, around the radius of the exhaust housing, to the other side of the flange.

I could do one for the stock turbo. Shame reduction is a big plus. I'd still need the same measurement from the picture above, along with the measurement in the pic below so I can make a notch in the right place for the wastegate pivot.

Non-gated blankets have side flaps front and rear with grommets in all four corners. They come with 2 stainless steel rollerball ties (zip ties) to attach. Internally gated blankets typically have tunnels sewn down both sides of the blanket for the ties to pass through and attach around the turbo. I can modify the blanket per customer requests if necessary too.

I look for the flange to flange and turbine housing width measurement this week end, or maybe from another user here ...

I dont have internal wastegate, but on same turbo several user keep internal gate and have problem with the flapper arm.
A bad sock could obstruct the wastegate actuator fonction...

You could have another DSM best sale ( after the FP mani blanket ) with a perfect sock for TD05H 16G turbo's !

Interfering with wastegate operation shouldn't be an issue. I can leave the insulation layer out where the arm passes over the blanket so it doesn't rub or get hung up creating an issue.

If there is a specific turbo housing someone needs a blanket for, just let me know. Just a couple measurements and I'm happy to make a blanket to fit.

Sorry for the confusion between sock and blanket. They are the same thing. I use the terms interchangeably. Turbo Sock is actually a term that I created to separate my products from others.

So what would. Titanium wrap for the t-25 roughly cost?

How well do the socks fit with stock style turbine housing? The outlet side is not exactly a circle like on other side where it mates to the CHRA. It's a very irregular shape and it makes for a bad fit with the generic blanket I have.

The titanium wrap is a DEI product. My material naturally comes more of a tan/gold color. Not knowing exact size of the T-25 housing but having a ballpark idea. You'll probably be in the $75ish range. It's not just a single layer wrap either, it's 3 full layers 1/2" thick. Never been able to run an engine hard enough to not be able to touch the top of the blanket with my bare hand.

Just need the measurements posted earlier in the thread and I can make anything you would need.

Probably going to need measurements for most turbo's until I familiarize myself more with stock and popular DSM turbo sizes.

I measured 36 cm, can someone possibly verify to be sure as I measured with turbo on the car and was a little difficult.
The other measurement pic posted up from the exhaust manifold flange to waste gate arm protrusion I measured 5cm, again if someone could verify I would appreciate it.

Edit: this is for an evo3 16g
