The Fuel Injector Clinic 1100cc Injector is a saturated / High Impedance Ball & Seat Injector. This 1100cc fuel injector provides great trailing throttle response and minimum pulse widths resulting in a perfect cold start and idle. And, it will work with E85 or other high performance fuels. The FIC 1100cc fuel injector will fit to Jetronic harnesses. (Resistor pack removal recommended when applicable.)
This new Fuel Injector Clinic 1100cc/min @43.5psi (3Bar) high impedance injector is 22 percent larger than FICís similar 900cc injector (also called the 1000cc injector by others) when flowed with calibration fluid, n-heptane or similar.
Important note: These fuel injectors are high impedance and do not require the use of a resistor box. If the vehicle in which this product will be used came with a resistor box from the factory (DSM / Evo / Etc.) you will need to remove that resistor box for these to function properly! Injector Dynamics fuel injectors are the result of batch testing large quantities of specially modified fuel injectors, and then carefully matching them into sets based on their dynamic flow across the pulsewidth range. The result is vastly superior cylinder to cylinder consistency, even at very low pulsewidths. In addition to receiving tightly matched injectors, you will be provided with dead time compensation values across the entire pressure and voltage range of the injector. This data will insure that the compensations in your ECU work properly, and your air fuel ratios will remain consistent as atmospheric or voltage conditions change.
Application specific fitment is handled with the addition of various top hat adapters, and occasional machining operations. Standard fitment exists for most popular applications, and new fitments will be developed on request. All standard lengths and fuel rail bores are currently accommodated.
